Breakfast, Lunch, and Brunch
Owned and operated by chef Jeff Haeger, the Crooked Tree Café offers patrons an incredible breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch dining experience. Using his fine dining knowledge obtained from working with local chefs and others from around the country, Jeff turns an ordinary meal into anything BUT ordinary. His menu features in-house smoked and spicy meats, mouth watering brisket, delectable chicken and one-of-a-kind brunch entrees. His farm-to-table vegetables are grown by local farmers and his specialty sauces are created by non other than Jeff himself.
Jeff has made it his mission to travel the world trying some of the most unique restaurants one can find. He has taken some of his best findings and added them to his outstanding culinary skills. The result? Delectable smoked duck sloppy joe, mouth watering smoked brisket grilled cheese, delicious veggie scramble and scrumptious homemade Desserts. Of course chef specials are always offered on a daily basis and are based on seasonal availability.
Chef Jeff is a Marietta native who graduated from Lassiter High School and attended the University of Georgia. He went on to attend Johnson and Wales Culinary School in Charleston, South Carolina, and worked in several restaurants in Charleston before moving to Dallas, Texas. In Dallas he developed his love of smoked and spicy foods while working with chef Stephen Pyles. After returning to the southeast, Jeff served as chef at the Memphis Q and Coast Brew Pub at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Mississippi. Locally, Jeff worked with chefs Gary Mennie at Canoe and Joey Ahn, at Soho. In 2012, Jeff and his father decided to showcase Jeff’s talents in his own restaurant. Using his love of the beautiful Angel Oaks on Cumberland Island, Jeff chose the name Crooked Tree Café for his restaurant.
The Crooked Tree Café is located at 915 Cobb Parkway North in Marietta. The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 3 PM
